At the recent annual YES (Young Enterprise Scheme) Canterbury Regional Awards - an evening was spent celebrating the incredible achievements of our young entrepreneurs and those who make it possible.

Last week, the 4C Centre hosted our annual Grapple event - and it was truly spectacular!

On Saturday 19July, we held our 12th annual youth talent showcase, Platform. Each year, both staff and audience members alike walk away commenting on the incredible calibre of performances, and 2025 was no different.

A documentary about The Kind Foundation has just been released, showcasing our site development, the brand change and the essence of our organisation.

Recently two of our Elevate Fitness members completed the epic Coast to Coast event. Kelly was competing in her 4th event and Yuri in his first - read about their experiences in their own words and get motivated and training for 2026!

On Friday 26 July we held the first ever Ōtautahi Youth Business Conference, Summit 24. 110 students and young people were able to hear from inspiring keynote speakers, attend interactive workshops, make the most of networking opportunities, and ask their questions at the panel discussions.

As National Volunteer Week 2024 draws to a close we want to honour all of the amazing volunteers who contribute to the success of our organization in so many ways. We are immensely proud to hold a legacy of leadership through service and to have seen countless taiohi and young adults flourish in volunteer roles throughout their time with us.

Last week we were stoked to celebrate Youth Week 2024 with all of our rangatahi. Thanks to support from Sport Canterbury we were able to deliver a bunch of classes for young people featuring recreation activities they may never have tried before!
