Papa Hou
Mō tātou katoa. For all of us.
Papa Hou is our treasure box, a unique piece of architecture that incorporates an astonishing array of spaces for a broad range of uses. Each of the spaces in Papa Hou has a particular niche for our community that is currently not being me elsewhere. It is important to us that we meet gaps in provision, that we serve our community as well as we can by being relevant, and that we don’t undermine other great work being done in the city, instead we compliment it.

BLACK BOX & VENUES
At the heart of Papa Hou is a fully equipped 250-seat Black Box, supported with additional multi-purpose spaces, dressing rooms and green room.
In addition to conference and corporate bookings, we have a vision to provide non-profit amateur performers across a range of artistic genres, the opportunity to perform in a fit-for-purpose space, otherwise not available to them in the central city.
