Your time to shine!

Platform is an event for young people to express their talents in a professional, supportive environment and be in with a chance to win a share of some large cash prizes, allowing them an opportunity to go on and further advance their abilities.

Our categories are Music and Movement. We are looking forward to showcasing the best youth talent in Christchurch in our brand new Black Box Theatre, supported by our professional tech crew and our youth leadership programme Kaiwhakatere.

Auditions now open

If you are aged between 13 and 21 years of age, its time to get your act together now and show us what you have to offer.
We are welcoming audition videos from those aged 13-21 years, performing their favourite genre. Those selected to go through to the live final are not only in with a chance to win some large cash prizes, but will walk away with a professionally filmed video of their performance.

Winner – Best Musical Performance

/ singers, choral groups, bands, instrumental

Winner – Best Movement Performance

$1,000
/ any dance genre, circo, acrobatics
+ $500 runner-up prizes for each category AND an extra $1,500 for the OVERALL WINNER!
