Platform is an event for young people to express their talents in a professional, supportive environment and be in with a chance to win a share of some large cash prizes, allowing them an opportunity to go on and further advance their abilities.
Our categories are Music and Movement. We are looking forward to showcasing the best youth talent in Christchurch in our brand new Black Box Theatre, supported by our professional tech crew.

Applications are open and close Monday 19 October 2026. If your audition makes it through to the live final, you must be available for a sound check through the day (between 10am-4pm), as well as the evening performance (which starts at 7pm) on Saturday 31 October 2026.
Please complete the application form if you are able to meet this commitment, and we’ll let you know by Monday 26 October 2026 whether you have been selected as a finalist.
