Anyone visiting the Centre for the first time is required to go through an induction process and climbers under 16 years are required to have a parent or guardian sign the registration form.
The minimum age to climb is 5 years old, but please note that climbers must be at least 13 to be able to ‘belay’ other climbers unless they have gained a Top Rope Belay Licence or are climbing with the Flying Geckos climbing club.
Induction briefings are free of charge and run on the quarter hour, every hour (subject to staff availability). We recommend booking or calling ahead before coming in to avoid disappointment. Once you have completed your induction, you’re ready to climb – simply pay the standard entry fee on each visit.
As a special offer, you can also choose to sign up on the day for 2 weeks of unlimited climbing (all gear included) for just $50!
Anyone wanting to lead climb at the Adventure Centre must be signed off to lead belay. Please book a lead induction or call ahead to ensure we have staff available.
Once your induction is complete, you’re part of our climbing wall community and can use the facilities whenever it suits you. Be sure to check out our membership options for discounted rates on our regular entry fees.
