The 4C Centre invites Year 12 and Year 13 students from across the country to apply.
Successful applicants will receive full sponsorship thanks to The Kind Foundation – including accommodation, meals, and full pastoral supervision – while staying at Hotel Give in Christchurch.
Across an intense seven days, teams of up to five will grapple with a real-world challenge revealed at the start of the week.
With support from 4C staff, mentoring from past Grapple participants, and guidance from industry professionals, teams will work to earn top marks across the judging criteria.
Our pitch event at the end of the week presents an exciting opportunity for participants to showcase their skills to the fullest and wow our judges.
It also offers a great chance to connect with future employers!
As part of their stay, competitors are granted 24-hour access to the 4C makerspace – equipped with 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines, iPads with Procreate/animation software, robotic equipment and a range of other creative and digital makerspace tools.
Applications close on 24 May, and successful applicants will be notified in early June.
