Dancing Like the Stars is a nine-week Term 2 programme that aims to promote and provide an active lifestyle through dance.
With a focus on low decile schools, DLTS provides dance as recreational medium to children who would not normally have access to dance lessons.
During the first half of the programme each school learns a range of dance moves associated with a particular dance style, delivered by a professional dance tutor. In the second half of the programme, each school is taught a choreographed dance routine based on the dance moves learned in the previous weeks. During the final week the routine is performed to an audience of family members in a professional theatre context.
If your school is interested in taking part in this programme, please contact Adam through the link at the bottom of the page.
