Since our first tournament in 2012, the The Kind Foundation Charity Golf Tournament has become an important annual fundraiser for our organisation. The funds raised help us deliver programmes, services and opportunities for give children, young people, families and older adults.
These include school holiday programmes, youth development, children’s recreation, early childhood education and Life Fit activities for older adults. Many of these opportunities are delivered at low cost or free of charge, helping to reduce the financial, physical, cultural and social barriers that can prevent people from participating.
When you sponsor the tournament, enter a team or contribute to the prize pool, you are doing much more than supporting a day of golf. You are helping create accessible opportunities and positive experiences for people throughout our community.
Golf, connection and friendly competition
Set among the tree-lined fairways of Weedons Country Club, the tournament is played in an Ambrose format, making it welcoming for a range of golfing abilities. Experienced players can put their skills to the test, while more casual golfers can enjoy the teamwork, atmosphere and fun of the day. The course is an 18-hole, par 73 course with doglegs that provide a challenge for golfers.
It is also a valuable opportunity to spend time with colleagues, connect with clients and meet other local organisations in a relaxed setting away from the usual working day.
