On Saturday 20 July, we held the 11th annual youth talent showcase, Platform. Each year, both staff and audience members alike walk away commenting on the incredible calibre of performances, and 2024 was no different.
The acts performing at the live final had already submitted an online audition and been through a rigorous selection process before being shortlisted – showcasing the best of the best! This event gives rangatahi a taste of the spotlight and the opportunity to experience a real live performance environment – from sound and dress rehearsals, to entering the dressing rooms, to their moment on stage and receiving live feedback from the judges – this is the real-life experience of show business!
